The company, with registered headquarters in Sils, Spain, is a holding company engaged in the manufacture and wholesale distribution of flour, fats and oils as well as processed products use in the food industry. The company was incorporated in July of 1962. The company's products are used in bakery (bread improvers, flavors and sourdough, yeast, emulsifiers, and enzymes); patisserie (cakes, sponge and chou mixes; custard cream mixes; mousse and entermet mixes; and icings, fudges and ganaches); and chocolate (Belcolade Belgian chocolate, couverture chocolate, and chocolate and nut fillings). The company has acquired approximately 64 percent shares from Puratos Group - an industrial company with active interest in the provision of management activities of holding companies.
